Jรขbir bin Samura a rapportรฉ : 'Umar dit ร Sa'd : ยซ Les gens se sont plaints de toi en tout, mรชme dans la priรจre. ยป Sa'd rรฉpondit : ยซ En vรฉritรฉ, j'avais l'habitude de prolonger les deux premiรจres rak'รขt et de raccourcir les deux derniรจres, et je ne raccourcirai jamais la priรจre dans laquelle je suis le Messager d'Allah (ุตูู ุงููู ุนููู ูุณูู
). ยป 'Umar dit : ยซ Tu dis la vรฉritรฉ et c'est ce que je pense de toi. ยป
`Umar said to Sa`d, "The people complained against you in everything, even in prayer." Sa`d replied,
"Really I used to prolong the first two rak`at and shorten the last two and I will never shorten the
prayer in which I follow Allah's Messenger (๏ทบ)." `Umar said, "You are telling the truth and that is what I
think a tout you."
